The form was chosen to represent the unique drumlin landscape of Co Down, Northern Ireland, which was formed during the Ice Age. The artist has an anthropological approach to her research and inspiration. The design on this jar is the artist’s own artwork attached by decal. The inspiration was a result of a researched study of maps and movement of people around and in this tempestious tidal dictated area of Strangford Lough. (AONB)
