Salt
Stoneware, glaze. H30 x W 30.5cm As a ceramic artist, I find beauty in the weathered and worn. My latest creation, a ceramic jar titled ‘Salt’, draws inspiration from an old, rusting RNLI boat abandoned on the shores of Ringhaddy on Strangford Lough. This vessel was once a symbol of hope and rescue but now stands as a testament to the corrosive power of saltwater and time.
