Nendrum
Nendrum Ecclesiastical site, Mahee Island, Strangford lough. This monastery was attacked by Vikings when they arrived in Ireland, but these beautiful, hand-built walls still partially stand. Nature has grown a layer of lichen over the stone, almost purifying it with white and preserving history.
