Sculptural Vessel - I

These porcelain vessels reflect my ongoing exploration of space, resilience, and the unseen forces that shape our experience. Each piece is hand built in three carefully staged steps. I layer rolled porcelain strips to create flowing lines. Each strip is then secured ensuring they hold their form during the firing process. Openings are then carved into the vessel, creating a dynamic interplay between surface and space. Finally refining the openings to become seamless windows into the interior.
