Hebridean Skies
Hebridean Skies is a collection of hand-painted velvet cushions inspired by the shifting light of Scotland’s Outer Hebrides. Each piece captures a fleeting atmospheric moment – moody greys, soft lilacs, sea greens, and midnight blues – echoing the raw beauty of remote landscapes where sea and sky blur. Using silk velvet as canvas, I work with silk paints and brushwork to translate the emotional weather of the Hebrides into tactile form. Each is painted by hand, making every piece unique.
