Celestia Textile Collages
These textile collages draw on the shifting colours of Scottish skies and the quiet geometry of distant planets. Each hand-painted fragment of velvet or silk organza collected as offcuts from my cushions and scarves, becomes a small world of its own, layered to suggest horizons, orbits, and changing light.I experiment with layering, subtle colour shifts, and textures. The work ultimately captures the movement of weather and the sense of space beyond.
