Weather system table (Bespoke Moos Krog)
Our client asked us to take her existing table and introduce a pattern to its top face. Fascinated by geometry and wooden tones, we opted to deploy a cascade of hexagons that were constructed using a bespoke marquetry pattern. In this case the pattern embodies waste birch ply, Iroko from a discarded bench, interrupted by a bright liner incursion of waste acrylic. Hard wax oil to the top protects its top. Function and aesthetic complement each other, transforming tired into alive.
