This piece amalgamates discarded Iroko worktop, flooring lino and a selection of other darker timbers used on their endgrain. The surface reveals industrial worktop construction joints, interspersed with pops of colour sneaking out from from the lino’s thickness, sandwiched between other timbers. It was built to the specified dimensions of 550 x 1106 and with its speckled appearance in mind. Its surface has been finished using top oil and wax.
