After accidentally leaving a book out in the rain, I developed the award-winning ‘Paperwork’. Deciding to reuse my ruined book, I transferred to the paper the woodworking techniques employed during my degree in Decorative Arts. In 2019 after a short career break, I came full circle & began combining my paper technique with wood. By continuing the working practises previously employed to each material independently, I have married the two creating my intriguing interior paper & wood collections.

Recycling has always been an important element within my work, so to be able to create a technique using the printed pages of unwanted books and paper that no longer had a use, became a defining factor within my practise.
