A Year of a Cornish Hedge
Cornish Hedges, constructed of stone with a soil core, form glorious linear gardens that thread through Cornwall. Commissioned by Penwith Landscape Partnership in 2021, we artists, Amanda Richardson and Sara Bevan began a collaboration, celebrating the changes in a Cornish Hedge in the far west of Cornwall through the four seasons. My contribution was a series of four textile collages, one for each season. This project culminated in an exhibition in the superb Miners Chapel in St Just.
