Seagrass Collection

This work is a celebration of seagrass! Each piece is handcrafted using re-melted waste glass, in a two-stage process that starts with the creation of colourful canes, designed to reflect the stunning colours and textures of seagrass from an underwater perspective. These canes are then picked up on a blowing iron, overlaid with further canes to create depth. Each piece is free blown to its final organic form. This process ensures that every creation is unique.
