At the start of a making, Laura chooses materials supporting the idea or the emotion she is trying to convey. Her artistic methodology involves substantial research in the history of the landscape, allowing her to explore the physical properties of matter and the processes she chooses to transform it into. Finding the spaces in the landscape create a process, systematic as it is random. A trial-and-error process allows her to make new visual effects that emerge from the metal and stone.
