Are you an artist or maker living in the Borough of Waltham Forest looking to develop your practice or making skills? Are you a practitioner who is currently underrepresented in the creative industries? We are offering a creative practitioner living in Waltham Forest the opportunity to grow their skills and practice. This includes access to our shared studios, free use of our wood and metal workshops, guidance, and skill development with our specialist technicians.
As part of our commitment to diversifying access to wood and metalworking, we especially encourage applications from individuals who are currently underrepresented in our workshop and studio spaces, including women, non-binary individuals, trans people, people from the global majority and people from low-income backgrounds.
WHO ARE YOU? - Waltham Forest resident - A creative practitioner / artist / maker with a strong interest in wood and/or metalwork - A practitioner who values community-driven spaces and believes in the power of making to create positive change
WHAT WE OFFER: - Free desk space in our shared makers’ studio for 3 months - Free access to our wood and metal machine shops and benches - Free workshop induction (wood machine shop, metalwork, forge, lathes)
