I use only local clay and materials whenever possible to reduce transport emissions. I reclaim and recycle trimmings, throwing slop and failed pieces. I optimize my kiln schedules by firing at a lower temperature, 1230 degrees and only use slow bisque when necessary, I also maintain my kiln as well as I can to reduce energy wastage. I use a water recycling system with two buckets and separate the sediment.
I also only use eco friendly recyclable packaging when wrapping and posting my work.
