Leather Journal Presentation Gift for Novelist Philippa Gregory
I was commissioned to bind a leather journal by the Bury St Edmunds Literature Festival, for them to present to guest author, historical novelist Philippa Gregory, during the promotion tour of her novel, Boleyn Traitor. The Longstitch with Linkstitch historical binding style I used for this book was a fitting tribute to Philippa's talents at bringing the Tudor period to life, as the binding has been in use since the 15th century and would have been known to the protagonists of her novels.
