Hand Braiding with shells
A bespoke commission for a private residence, to remake lengths of braid and reuse shells from a previous installation piece. This project involved hand braiding polypropylene cord into 300m worth of braid, then adorning the braid with thousands of shells, hand sewn on, with a team of ladies from my local community.
