Coast
Beautiful rock formations, secret caves in cliff faces. Giant rocks at the shoreline, sea swirling around them as the tide rolls in over shelly sand. Waves rolling back out at low tide, leaving their marks in the sand. Ripples and pools that glint in the sunlight. The ever changing light and colours, the taste of salt on the air. The cry of the gulls. Coast, Cornwall - Jen Williams 2020

Molten silver with Amazonite semi-precious stones.
Molten silver with Amazonite semi-precious stones and recycled glass. Inspired by the cliff face that provides the backdrop to beautiful Carbis Bay beach. With secret caves and rock formations that have been shaped by the sea in St Ives bay.
Solid silver pebbles and Amazonite semi-precious stones pair with stone beaten silver hoops. Reminiscent of boulders and pebbles piled high on the shoreline.
Molten silver with Indian Agate semi-precious stones and recycled glass. Pedn Vounder, the most beautiful of beaches that reveals itself at low tide, when you can walk across the bay towards the Logan Rock. Although you could be stunned by the dramatic beauty of the cliffs, it is the long stretch of sand and the patterns, ripples and glistening pools left by the receding tide that captured my imagination and inspired these pieces.
Handforged & stone textured to reflect ripple patterns in the sand at low tide. 6.5cm slightly flexible diameter. W 2cm, 36g.
