Make your own mug using recycled materials on Wednesday 27 October, from 1.30-3.30pm.
In collaboration with Islington Council, you're invited to join multi-disciplinary artist Ray Gonzalez Brown for a free hands-on workshop at the Crafts Council Gallery in Islington, London. Here you will design, prototype and fabricate your very own ceramic tableware using cardboard.
Ray's Lost Cardboard Process technique uses mundane materials to create clay moulds, that are later filled with clay. After the workshop, all the mugs will be fired and glazed and returned to the gallery for you to collect later. Be sure to dress for mess!
This workshop is suitable for 10-13-year-olds and all children must be accompanied by an adult to attend this workshop.
Please note this event is open to Islington residents only.
