Established in 1979 as a hands-on counterpart to our exhibitions, learning programmes and Primary Collection, the Handling Collection offers an intimate view into how craft is made. From material samples, sketches and test pieces to finished works, it reveals the ideas, experimentation and skill behind over fifty years of making.
